The Story Behind the Smoke
Born in Kansas. Built by Hand.
I'm a maker from Hays, Kansas — the kind of place where you learn early that if something needs doing, you figure it out yourself. That ethos runs through everything I create.
The BBQ rubs started as something I made for myself. After years of tweaking ratios and testing batches on brisket, ribs, and everything in between, I landed on blends worth sharing. No shortcuts, no fillers — just the same stuff I put on my own food.
The 3D printing side came from needing things that didn't exist yet. A custom bracket here, a smart home enclosure there. I print on a Kobra S1, design in Fusion 360, and take the same slow, deliberate approach I do at the smoker.
